The backbone of this country begins with the men and women of the Armed Forces. Since Hurricane Katrina shut down the Veteran’s Hospital in New Orleans, many of our military veterans have no true medical home and have seen their access to care diminished. Our veterans should not be forced to travel to Mississippi just to receive basic healthcare services. Steve will fight to allow our Veterans to select the doctor and hospital of their choice. He will fight to force the Veterans Administration to treat our service men and women with the same honor with which they served our country.
